What is Long Bowl Klikit?

The long cup click is a specialized version of the mechanism known as the "click" or "snap." It works by pressing two parts together to lock them, allowing the joined surfaces to be opened and closed easily.

The most distinctive feature of this system, as the name suggests, is its longer and deeper cup. This design allows for a secure connection on thick fabrics or padded items (coats, thick leather jackets, duvets) where standard clicks are inadequate.

Structure and Working Principle

The long bowl klikit consists of four main parts:

  • Male Part (Nail): The part that is attached to one side of the fabric and has a sharp tip and protrudes outwards.

  • Female Part (Socket): The socket-shaped part that is attached to the other side of the fabric and into which the male part fits.

  • Cups (Heads): Long metal rings that secure the male and female parts to the fabric.

Why is it preferred?

  • Thick Fabrics: Standard snaps cannot sufficiently compress thick fabrics; the long cup structure eliminates this problem.

  • Durability: Thanks to the long bowl, the connection becomes stronger and more durable, providing long-lasting use to the product.

  • Easy Application: It can be easily installed with special molds and nailing machines; ideal for mass production.

Long cup closures are an ideal option for those looking for a reliable and durable closure solution for sportswear, coats, leather goods, tents and other heavy textile applications.
